Social events
Jagersbosch offers a comprehensive social programme in line with the goal to keep the community involved and informed. Regular social outings are organised and a yearly calendar is set up with the dates for various social events in Stilbaai, Jongensfontein and Melkhoutfontein. Examples of social activities are meetings and outings of the Bird Watchers Society and regular musical events, games etc.

Transport
Transport can be provided to members:
in need of medical services, to the service points and clinics;
who need to do shopping;
who have medical emergencies;
for routine medical
check-ups.
Housing
The Soeterus Care Centre provides housing to the elderly and disabled in a safe and secure environment. The centre comprises of three two-bed roomed and four one-bed roomed units. The Stillerus Transit Care Unit provides housing for six to eight persons. This facility provides care and housing for single and frail members of the community. The alterations made to the clinic of the Soeterus Hall provide accommodation for six more members of the community. This unit has been named the Moses Kleinhans clinic.
